History

Icebel with its current constitution began its activity in the production of cold-end line equipment in 1993. Initially developed its business in leased premises, in 1996 built new premises in Zona Industrial de Casal da Lebre - Marinha Grande and in 2005 acquired a manufacturing facility, doubling the covered area with potential to grow up.

With its foundations in cold-line equipment, has been imposing itself in other industrial sectors with customized solutions, keeping as a source the equipment for automatic handling, palletizing, articles and palletised loads conveyance and pallets packaging. Installs complete systems, integrating its production equipment, with others made by other manufacturers.

 

Since the beginning of its activity, the company has experienced continuous growth and today provides several sectors such as glass, food, beverages, dairy products, paints, lubricants, plastics, cork, etc...

 

Mission

ICEBEL´s mission is to study and design, build, assemble and provide automatic cold-end line equipment, mainly including: palletizing, depalletizing, handling, articles and palletized loads conveyance.

While meeting its mission, assumes a posture of ethics, honesty and credibility, providing customer satisfaction and economics, seek partnerships with the suppliers for mutual benefit and provides professional improvement and personal enhancement of its employees.

 

SME Leader and SME Excellence

In 2009, 2010 and 2015 several companies from various sectors in Portugal were awarded the status of SME Excellence. This is an initiative of IAPMEI, created with the aim of rewarding the national SMEs that attest the quality of its economic and financial performances.

Excellence SMEs are financially solid companies that have successfully maintained high competitive standards with betting strategies of innovation and internationalization, and who have active contributions in the dynamics of employment and development of several regions.
